Local Philanthropy
As lifelong members of Kappa Kappa Gamma, the women of our Alumnae Association recognize the significance of philanthropy -- both nationally and locally.
Kappa members first support one another through the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. The Foundation strives to enhance the lives of Kappa women through scholarships, educational programs, financial aid and the preservation of Kappa heritage. Thanks to those who supported our Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship Fundraising efforts in the Spring of 2023, we were able to provide three Panhellenic women at UNC-Charlotte a scholarship of $1,000 each.
As Kappas nationwide become advocates for mental health, we can be bold in making a change in the communities around us. The 2021-2022 Charlotte Alumnae Association Board chose the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and HopeWay in pledging our commitment to support mental health and well-being in the community. The current Board is proud to continue building and deepening relationships with these organizations.
